Remote Radio Head manufacturer Axis Network Technology appoints two industry professionals to senior management team
WiMAX radio company recruits Directors for Program Management and Supply Chain to push forward manufacturing program
Axis Network Technology (AxisNT), the Aylesbury UK based manufacturer of digital radio subsystems and Remote Radio Heads, has announced the addition of two experienced industry professionals to its senior management team. Stuart Cumming has been appointed Director, Program Management, and Keith Shirley takes on the role of Director of Supply Chain and Demand Management.

Prior to joining AxisNT Stuart Cumming had worked for 17 years for Lucent, where he managed R&D projects including the development of multi-site UMTS and CDMA base stations, radio, channel card and remote radio head products and liaising with external EMS vendors. In his early career Stuart also worked in design, engineering & Manufacturing positions with AT&T, Marconi Microsystems and Square D Ltd.
Keith Shirley has 14 years experience in the wireless communications industry. He has dealt with many of the key players and has managed major ramp-up programmes for Nokia (GSM handsets) and Ericsson (WCDMA base stations). Prior to joining AxisNT he worked for APW Ltd. (EMS) and John McGavigan Ltd. in Commercial Operations, Supply Chain and Account Management functions. He began his career in engineering at GEC Marconi Radar.
